2. Website access and hosting
visiongrid.download is delivered through Cloudflare. The IP address, time, requested address, referrer, browser and operating-system information, and technical security or error data may be processed to deliver the website, prevent attacks and maintain stability.
Recipient and processor: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is secure and reliable delivery. Relevant international transfers are protected in particular by EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary safeguards. Details: Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum.
Logs are retained only as long as required for operation, security, troubleshooting or statutory obligations.
3. Local storage and cookies
VisionGrid itself uses no analytics or marketing cookies. The chosen language is stored as a functional preference in browser local storage. Cloudflare may use technically necessary security mechanisms where required to protect and operate the website.
4. External software libraries
The optional camera test loads OpenCV.js from docs.opencv.org. The label generator loads aruco-marker, jsPDF and JSZip through cdn.jsdelivr.net. The provider may receive the IP address and browser information. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our interest is functional provision of these user-requested tools.
5. Camera test
The camera starts only after active selection and browser permission. Frames are processed in the browser to identify test markers. VisionGrid neither uploads nor stores the camera images. Permission can be withdrawn in browser or device settings.
6. Closed Google Play test
The tester-group and test-version links lead to Google Groups and Google Play. Google is contacted only after a link is selected. Participation may require a Google account and data processed independently by Google. Google’s Privacy Policy applies. Participation is voluntary.
7. Android application data
VisionGrid generally stores user-created inventory data locally on the device, including item names, categories, notes, quantities, target stock, expiry dates, shelf and slot information, marker IDs, search terms and optional images. Data remains until deleted in the application, Android application data is removed, or the application is uninstalled.
8. Android permissions
- Camera: ArUco-marker detection; images are processed for detection and not sent to the provider as recordings.
- Microphone: only for actively started voice features. The configured speech-recognition service may transmit audio to its provider. VisionGrid does not permanently store recordings.
- Files/images: only when the user selects an image or imports or exports data.
9. VisionGrid Local and local synchronisation
The user configures the connection, which operates within the local network. Inventory data, images, device name, application version, local IP address, connection status and last-contact time may be transferred between the mobile device and the user’s PC. The provider does not receive this inventory data.
10. Contact
When you contact us by email, the sender address, message and voluntarily supplied information are processed to handle the enquiry. Depending on its subject, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR. Data is deleted after completion unless retention duties apply.
11. Recipients and international transfers
Data is disclosed only where required for the described services, required by law, or initiated by the user. Where required, transfers rely on an adequacy decision, EU Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.
12. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Consent may be withdrawn with future effect. Contact VisionGrid.App@gmail.com. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; for private organisations in Bavaria this is generally the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision.
13. Updates
This policy will be updated when functions, providers or legal requirements change. The version published here applies.
If user accounts, payments, analytics or further online functions are added, this policy must be updated before they are used.
